A big thanks to all our recent donors!
This August, we collaborated with KMITL (King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang) and the local Chumphon Government to host a two day event to spay and neuter stray animals in Chumphon, Thailand. Thanks to the support we gained at our fundraisers, we were able to spay and neuter more than 100 dogs and cats, as well as vaccinate over 200 animals!
We are a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit animal charity. All donations are 100% tax deductible and 100% of funds raised goes towards transforming the lives of street dogs in rural parts of Thailand.
The Petchsuwan Shepherd Foundation, conducting animal charity work as “Thai Tails,” is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to aiding stray, unhoused, abandoned, and lost dogs in Chumphon, Thailand. Chumphon, a province in Southern Thailand, has a very large population of stray dogs, but there are no private or charitable organizations to help dogs. Right now, stray dogs primarily rely on kind locals to take care of them. This is why our primary focus lies in initiating neutering and spaying and distributing vaccines to stray dogs in Chumphon.

We aim to help lower the significant population of stray dogs and enhance their quality of life. By taking these steps, we aspire to pave the way for our organization to assist more dogs with other needs in the future. Every penny we raise from recycling and fundraising goes directly to helping Chumphon's stray dogs. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Thai Tails goes beyond the dogs themselves. Thai Tails is partnered with the Department of Animal Production Technology within the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. This collaboration allows passionate students interested in veterinary or animal based careers to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Students assist with transporting dogs to the veterinarian, observe sterilization procedures, and learn about animal care through note-taking. Thus, Thai Tails can not only fund neutering, spaying, vaccination, and the treating of injuries for stray dogs, but we are also helping create opportunities and programs for students to learn practical skills related to animal care, veterinary medicine, animal welfare, and other related fields. These skills can be useful for future careers or volunteer work.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit is an organization that has been recognized by the IRS as being tax-exempt by virtue of its charitable programs. This means that all donations to Thai Tails are 100% tax-deductible.
If donating in person, a paper receipt will be provided with all necessary information so that you may take a 100% tax deduction for your donation. Online donations will receive an email receipt.
